I.Introduction

Your privacy and the protection of your individual rights are important to us.  Our privacy and cookie policy sets out how our website collects and uses your data.  We assure you that all data is handled in a fair and responsible way complying with all domestic (PDPA) and international GDPR) regulations. Kindly take the opportunity to review this policy.

 

II. Abbreviations and definitions

Definitions:

GDPR - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free the flow of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46 / EC (General Data Protection Regulation) - Journal of Laws UE.L.2016.119.1 of May 2016;

  1. Your personal data may be processed based on the following legal principles:  

Art. 6, par. 1 lit. a GDPR is the legal basis for processing activities for which we obtain your consent for a given processing purpose.

Art. 6, par. 1 lit. b GDPR says that personal data may be processed for the performance of a contract, e.g., when purchasing a product. The same applies to any processing activities necessary to carry out pre-contractual activities, such as handling inquiries about products or services.  

Art. 6, par. 1 lit. c GDPR applies in cases where we have a legal obligation to process personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations.  

Art. 6, par. 1 lit. d GDPR says that personal data may be processed to protect the vital interests of your person or another natural person.

Art. 6, par. 1 lit. f GDPR applies to our legitimate interests, for example when hiring service providers to fulfil orders (e.g., delivery services), when completing statistical surveys and performing statistical analyses, when trying to log in or ensure security on the website. Our interest is to provide a user-friendly, attractive, and secure website and to optimise the experience to meet your expectations and our business objectives.

2. Customer - an entity whose personal data are processed on any basis specified in art. 6 GDPR, hereinafter also referred to as: "you”.

III. Purposes and basics of processing

We collect and process your personal data only to the extent that is necessary to ensure the functioning of the website. We do not collect any sensitive personal data. We collect, process, and use your personal data for the following purposes:  

 

Conclusion and performance of contracts

Provision of newsletters

Marketing and promotional activities

Customer service & support

Provision of Internet media services offered by AMC online

 

IV.  Categories of data processing

  1. Making contact - The information provided by you when contacting us by phone, e-mail or via the website will be stored by us so that we can respond and answer your questions. The contact will be recorded in a register so that we can prove that the contact took place as required by law.  

  2. Booking services – When making reservations for training or individual sessions we will process personal data including:

First name and last name.

Company name and NIP

Telephone number.

Address e-mail.

Invoice Address.

3. When subscribing to the newsletter - based on a separate consent - we process:

First name and last name.

Address e-mail.

4. Technical Data – We do not use analytical tracking to acquire any technical details about site users.

 

V. Data recipients

AMC does not transfer any of your personal data to any external company or entity.

 

VI. The period of storage of customer data

We process and store your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil

the purpose of their storage or if we are required to do so by law or regulations.

As soon as the purpose ceases to apply or has been fulfilled, your personal data will be deleted.

 

VII.  Your rights:

You have the right to:

a) access to your data and receive a copy of it.

b) rectify (correct) your data.

c) deletion of data.

d) restriction of data processing.

e) object to the processing of your data.

f) data portability.

g) lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.

h) withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data at any time in the event

processing your data based on your consent - withdrawal of consent will not affect compliance with the right to process based on your consent before its withdrawal.

VIII. Copyright

1.   All content and information on our website are the property

Administrator of AMC with its registered office in Warsaw and are subject to protection in accordance with the Act of on February 4, 1994, on copyright and related rights (i.e., Journal of Laws of 2017, item 880 as amended) in in particular in the field of use, display, copying, transmission, dissemination, modification or deletion.

2.   All activities in the scope specified in point 1 above, require the written consent of AMC.  Otherwise, they will be illegal and will constitute an infringement of intellectual property companies.

 

IX. Cookies

The website uses cookies for statistical purposes and for personalizing website settings.

  1. The Website uses two basic types of cookies: session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User's end device until logging out, leaving the website or turning off the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored on the User's end device for the time specified in the cookie file parameters or until they are deleted by the User

  2.  The customer can manage cookies within the web browser.

  3.  Disabling cookies may cause difficulties in the proper operation of the website.

 

X. Final Provisions

1.   The Administrators reserve the right to change the Privacy Policy to ensure regulatory compliance and when introducing new services

2.   The Customer is bound by the current Privacy Policy posted on the AMCBIZ website.
